Blackberry mobile phones have been used as remote email checkers by the business elite for a few years now, and, if you hate the Blackberry's keyboard or interface, a set of “Blackberry killers” is on its way by Good Technology, Seven Networks, and others. However, if you don't want to pay the high cost associated with a Blackberry and its service fee, you can at least send email from most modern cell phones. You can even hook your laptop into your cell phone to get wireless internet for a small service fee to your wireless provider.
